What is the difference between VESCENSE and a perfume?

Perfumes are designed to appeal to others. VESCENSE’s functional fragrances are designed to make you smell good and feel good throughout the day.

How is it different?

VESCENSE includes lighter concentration of active ingredients to create subtle scents and refreshing aromas. Our functional fragrances are ideal for everyday use. Additionally, VESCENSE products do not contain alcohol solvents. Our products are water and oil-based, designed to provide a hydrating experience.

What is a “functional fragrance”?

A functional fragrance is a fragrance designed to trigger an aromatherapeutic effect. Our products not only make you smell good but also feel good.We created an Elements Collection that consists of four distinct aromatherapeutic qualities. It includes four Elements: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. Each Element can be used independently or combined with another Element. For example, Air can be used with Fire, Earth, or Water.

Should I buy Mist or Pure?

Mist is a base fragrance spray of 100ml (3.38 fl.oz.). Pure is a layering oil of 9ml (0.30 fl.oz). They are designed to complement each other. You can strengthen the effect of your Mist (fine spray) with your Pure (pulse point). For convenience, VESCENSE offers each Element Mist and Pure in a bundle.

How do I use Mist and Pure?

Both Mist and Pure can be used directly on your skin. Spray Mist generously ~20 cm from your skin (4-6 sprays). Focus on warm body areas. Use Pure on the neck, wrists or behind the earlobes. Re-apply every 3-4 hours or as needed. Do not press the wrists together; this crushes the notes. Body warmth intensifies the scent and lasts longest on hydrated skin.

How do the fragrances feel on the skin?

VESCENSE products are designed to be light on the skin. Due to the moisturizing nature of VESCENSE fragrances, some people may experience a thin white film after application; this is due to the natural ingredients.

Are VESCENSE products clean and safe?

VESCENSE fragrances are clean because they are free from synthetic ingredients, harmful chemicals, and toxins including alcohol. The essential oils are diluted with grape seed oil to be safe for all skin types.

Where do your ingredients come from?

Each fragrance contains natural ingredients that are ethically sourced from sustainable farms. VESCENSE partners with leading ingredient manufacturers such as Firmenich and Givaudan to source the finest and natural ingredients available. Learn more about each fragrance on their product pages.

Are VESCENSE products cruelty-free?

Our products are vegan certified and they are not animal tested.

Are VESCENSE products aluminum free?

Absolutely, VESCENSE products are free from aluminum chlorohydrate, a potentially harmful element found in deodorants. Our products include “Aluminum Silicate” which is a naturally occuring bentonite clay and a perfectly safe ingredient.

Are VESCENSE products alcohol free?

Correct, VESCENSE products are free from alcohol such as ethanol or isopropyl, which are known to cause skin irritation, rashes, and even perfume poisoning. Our products include .01% “Benzyl Alcohol'' which is a naturally occurring aromatic ingredient rather than an additive.
